Helping the Community
To date owner Christopher Tenney has helped complete six “Rebuilding Together” charity roofs as lead supervisor of the volunteer crews. Several times a year he teams up with the University of Florida Rinker Construction School to help organize, educate and supervisor the UF students in completing an entire re-roof project for local homeowners who cannot afford to fix up the roofs themselves.
NCFRSA “Boots on the Roof” Charity Roofs
As President on the NCFRSA, (North Central Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association” owner Christopher Tenney helps select candidates, organize and supervise charity re-roof projects for the non-profit organization. Each year “Boots on the Roof” selects two homeowners at Christmas time to work with. To date the NCFRSA has completed five complete re-roofs for local homeowners who cannot afford to replace the roofs themselves. All material and labor is donated by members of the association.
If you are in desperate need of a new roof and cannot afford one, please contact Chris at (352) 538-4795 for applications.
